Again, speaking of local family farms….100% of our sawdust goes to a local horse stable. The clean sawdust makes excellent horse bedding in the stalls. When the bedding is changed,  the sawdust is then spread upon the horse farm’s fields, returning safely to the earth and NOT clogging up the landfill.  Our larger scraps of wood don’t go to the landfill either…they are recycled to a local mulch company. The scrap wood is processed into safe non-toxic playground mulch chips. If your children or grandchildren have been to a local school or park  – they have played on our wood chips and directly benefited from our recycling efforts.

Intuitively you expect “custom cabinetry” to be constructed from the finest
materials.
Sadly, unsuspecting homeowners and builders too often pay thousands of dollars for
custom cabinets from small cabinet shops made primarily from cheap imported
Chinese plywood. Chinese plywood is only 1/2″ thick, easily warps/twists, prone to
de-laminate (split open at the ends) and is generally a sub-standard product.

Even “big box”/mass produced semi-custom cabinet companies refuse to use the product.
Because of known extreme formaldehyde emissions, most Chinese plywood has been
banned from California since 2009. Air quality in homes is feared to be contaminated as the
Chinese plywood fills homes with known and suspected toxic gases.  Most industry analysts
believe it will be banned in the entire United States soon.
