In the spring of 1971 in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains "The Wildwood Cabinet Shop" began a tradition of creating luxury handcrafted cabinetry. A.C. Loveday, a Master Carpenter and Cabinetmaker and his apprentices, Dan Carter and Carol Carter, put in place the very foundation for the company… that each Wildwood cabinet will be custom designed and built specifically to meet our customer’s exacting specifications. Mr. Loveday knew only one way to handcraft cabinetry, with all-wood construction and fine furniture finishes and done… "the right way." Today, Wildwood is the recognized leader of custom handcrafted cabinetry in our area. .... large enough for consistent quality and speed of delivery, yet maintaining our personal attention to each individual project. Our manufacturing facility has grown to over 30,000 sq.ft. and includes an unrivaled dust-free and humidity controlled finish area. The technology employed in our finish facility ensures our hand-rubbed finished cabinetry to be truly exceptional.
